Incredible Edibles!

This year R3 are taking part in a competition called Incredible Edibles. This competition promotes healthy eating and growing your own.

For the first two tasks the children were required to research food origin and the process of getting foods such as chives, potatoes and wheat (bread), from farm to fork.

This week we completed task three, along with the rest of the school we went out to plant in our school garden, we planted lettuce, radish, scallions, potatoes, garlic, peas and some beans.

In the picture we’ve included here, the class are planting the vegetables we are growing for the project.
